Still, Candace dreamed of more. She dreamed of earning a degree in Education, specifically in early childhood, of walking across the stage at graduation, and of building a brighter future for her two boys. For years, she thought it wasn’t possible. Between work, family, and life’s demands, how could she ever find the time? Then, a coworker mentioned Vols Online—a program that offered the flexibility she needed to pursue her dreams without sacrificing her responsibilities. That moment changed everything.

Now enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Early Childhood program, Candace is excelling as a Vols Online student. The flexibility of online learning helps her manage her two jobs, her role as a mom, and her academic ambitions.
