Online & Hybrid Teaching Support Awards

The Online & Hybrid Teaching Support Awards are designed to assist faculty as they develop and deliver quality online courses that promote engagement, inclusion and student success. These awards are available to instructional faculty, graduate teaching assistants and staff who are responsible for teaching an online undergraduate or graduate course. Funds can be used to:

  • Redesign or revamp an already existing online course in order to better achieve the stated student learning outcomes;
  • To participate in a webinar or training related to online teaching; to purchase technology or software that can enhance the online learning experience for students;
  • To develop an Open Educational Resource (OER); or incorporate new and innovative ways to facilitate inclusion and access for students in online and hybrid courses.

Awards will range from $500 to $2,500, depending upon the stated objectives, needs and availability of funds. The deadline for applications has now passed.
