How to Apply as an Undergraduate Online Student

Take a look at our undergraduate admissions process and how to apply for an online undergraduate degree program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While our application requirements and admissions process may vary based on your specific program, you’re in the right place to get started.

1. Choose an Online Bachelor’s Degree Program

First, choose the program that fits your career goals and personal interests. We have a growing number of online bachelor’s degree and areas of interest.

2. Complete Your UT Application

Create an account
Click “Start New Application”
You should see 2026 Vols Online pre-populated
Click “Create Application”
Complete and submit your application, along with the $75 application fee

3. Send Us Your Official Transcripts

You will need to send us all official transcripts from each previous institution you’ve attended (even if it was only one course or dual enrollment.)

Online Undergraduate Program Application Deadlines

Fall Semester

Apply by: July 1
Confirm Enrollment by: August 1

Spring Semester

Apply by: December 15
Confirm Enrollment by: January 9

Summer Semester

Apply by: April 15
Confirm Enrollment by: May 15
